Brian has been a fintech VC and angel investor since 2002. He has invested across a variety of fintech areas, from alternative lending platforms and payments to wealth management, capital markets, and insurance. Brian is currently a Venture Partner at Fintech Collective, where he invests in seed and early-stage fintech companies, and a Special Advisor at Thayer Street Partners, where he invests in late-stage venture and growth equity financial services opportunities. Previously, Brian spent 12 years at Upfront Ventures investing in early-stage companies. Before Upfront, he spent 9 years as an investment banker at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, covering Digital Media, Financial Services, and Software.
